Department of Sociology at Sacred Heart College (Autonomous) Thevara had a presentation & interaction with Dr. Zsuzsa Arendas, Professor of Sociology at Central European University on Socio- cultural heritage, migration & ethnography. She is also a research fellow at Centre for Social Sciences, Budapest, Hungary. The interaction was fruitful and it also did shed light on inter cultural studies, social demography and a comparative analysis of Kerala and Hungarian societies. The interaction will act as a beginning for a deeper and long term collaboration between two renowned departments in the future.
