The World Human Rights Day 2023 was commemorated by the department of Sociology on 08th December in association with the Student Development Office of Sacred Heart College with a thought-provoking street play by the 3rd DC Students that addressed critical human rights issues prevalent in contemporary Indian society. The engaging performance aimed to raise awareness and stimulate conversations on the challenges faced by individuals in the pursuit of their rights. This initiative was to delved into various aspects of human rights, shedding light on social issues such as gender inequality, discrimination, through compelling narratives and impactful scenes, were the students effectively conveyed the urgency of addressing these issues for the betterment of society.
